Validation
Parking is only $2.00 with a validation from participating restaurants for up to 3 hours. Customers with a validated ticket staying past three hours will be charged the regular rate less $2.00.

Chinatown Parking Mobile App Instructions
Introduction
The Chinatown Parking Corporation has upgraded its parking equipment to a modern system that allows for contactless payments, the ability to enter and exit with a smartphone equipped with Bluetooth, and faster entry and exit.
All users, including monthly and daily parkers, are encouraged to download the JPASS app and register:

Daily/Transient Parking
- Paper ticket only
Upon entering the lot, customers will take a paper ticket from the entry machine that will have a QR code.
You can present the paper ticket to participating merchants for validation (see below).
Before exiting, pay at a pay station in the lot, on the JPASS app, or at the exit (credit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay).
There is a 15 minute grace period to exit the lot after payment.
- Touchless using the JPASS App
If you have downloaded the JPASS app, you can enter, pay, and exit with your smartphone.
Open the JPASS app with Bluetooth on and pull up to the entrance gate. The app will recognize the station.
Tap the Entry icon and the app will generate a digital ticket (no paper ticket will be printed). The gate will open and you may enter.
If you need a validation (see below), in the JPASS app main screen hit the Passes icon in the lower left. You will see your active digital ticket. Click on it and the QR code will display.
To pay for your digital ticket in the JPASS app, tap on Passes and review the active digital ticket. Tap the Pay Now icon and the payment window will open.
There will be a 15 minute grace period to exit the lot after payment.
To exit the lot, pull up to the exit with the JPASS app open and Bluetooth on. The app will recognize the station and bring up a screen. Hit the Exit button and the gate will raise.
Validations
Participating merchants will validate parking for 3 hours for only $2.00. If a validated parker stays past the 3 hours, they will have to pay the full rate less $2.00.
To get the validated rate, visit a participating merchant and present your parking ticket or the QR code from your JPASS account on your phone if you entered with the JPASS app and are using a digital ticket. The merchant will scan the QR code and the validation will be applied.
Monthly Parking
Current monthly parking customers will need to have an account on the JPASS app. We no longer use keycards.
The Chinatown Parking Corporation’s parking manager, SP+, will assist you in setting up your account in the JPASS app. You will then use the JPASS app to enter touchlessly via Bluetooth or by scanning a QR code on your phone.
- Using the JPASS app
To enter the lot, pull up to the entrance gate with the JPASS app open and Bluetooth turned on. The app will recognize the station and present a screen. Hit the Enter button and the gate will open.
To exit, pull up to the gate with the JPASS app open and Bluetooth turned on. The app will recognize the station and present a screen. Hit the Exit button and the gate will open.
- Using a printed QR Code
Monthly users can go to www.j-pass.com and print their QR code from their account. Simply scan your assigned account QR code at the entrance and exit.
Billing for monthly customers will remain the same for the time being.
