The Chinese Dragon Boat Race dates back to over 2,000 years and is a popular sport among Chinese and Asian communities all over the world. Started in 2000, the Chicago Dragon Boat Race for Literacy is a family-fun activity enjoyed by visitors from all over the city and surrounding suburbs.

The Dragon Boat Race for Literacy has been successfully held by Chinatown Chamber for the past 24 years, which carries over the spirit of Chicago, promotes Asian culture, and aims to help the neighborhood literacy programs.

The team application and sponsorship opportunity are LIVE.

TIER 1: COMMUNITY TEAM (FOR ORGANIZATION/COMPANY WITH 124 EMPLOYEES OR LESS.)

Twelve Hundred Dollars ($1,200.00) per team.

TIER 2: CORPORATE TEAM (FOR ORGANIZATION/COMPANY WITH 125 EMPLOYEES OR MORE.)

Eighteen Hundred Dollars ($1,800.00) per team.

To register and guarantee your team registration, payment must accompany the completed Team Application Form and submitted by Friday, May 2, 2025. Registration is on a First-come, First-serve basis.
