November 2015 Edition
Happy Thanksgiving! As we approach the holiday season, we give thanks to all of our valuable Chamber members, Board of Directors, sponsors, partners, supporters, volunteers and staff who have made 2015 a successful year for the Chicago Chinatown Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber has hosted several events this year including its Lunar New Year Dinner, Dragon Boat Race, Chinatown Business Luncheon, workshops and recently the Annual Gala and Miss Friendship Ambassador Pageant. We look forward to these and more in the coming year!
Time to shop for holiday gifts! Be sure to make Chinatown one of your stops this holiday season to buy unique gifts for friends and families. Our many stores offer Chinese clothing, trinkets, tea pots, jewelry, toys, variety of specialty teas, bakery products and more. And, while you are here, experience dim sum, lunch or dinner at one of over 70 restaurants in the neighborhood. Many of the restaurants are offering special pricing, so even a better reason to stay! We look forward to seeing you in Chinatown soon!

Jamie Moy and Aileen Tie completed the contestant roster and we are very proud of ALL of them!
Emceeing the event was WGN-TV’s Emmy award-winning journalist Nancy Loo along with David Wong. All the contestants graced the stage in beautiful lace dresses, evening gowns, swimsuits and Chinese qipaos. They exhibited amazing individual talents, wowing the audience with their skill and lovely outfits.
The event would not have been possible without the generosity of our sponsors. Thank you!
Thank you to our generous raffle prize donors who provided one hundred valuable items to our successful event. Congratulations to our winners! If you have not claimed your prize, be sure to bring your winning ticket to the Chamber. Winning numbers list.
