On February 19th, Sharyne Moy Tu, Executive Director, appeared on the Sirott & Murciano Show on WGN Radio 720 AM for the second Lunar New Year tasting event live on air.  This year, spring rolls were the food item to taste.  Five member restaurants participated (Evergreen, Emperor’s Choice, Ming Hin Cuisine, Phoenix and Won Kow).  Bob Sirott, Marianne Murciano and Kevin Pang, food critic with the Chicago Tribune, blind tasted each of five spring rolls.  It was a difficult decision to choose their favorites, they were all very good.  The final results were: #1 Ming Hin Cuisine, #2 Phoenix Restaurant and #3 Won Kow.  Listen to the broadcast online. Congratulations and thank you to all of the restaurants for their participation.  And thank you to Bob and Marianne at WGN Radio 720 AM for hosting this fun event!
