Chinatown Special Service Area (SSA) #73
The Chinatown Special Service Area (SSA) #73 was initially approved in December 2017 for a ten-year term.
Due to the success of the initial term, the SSA is to be renewed for a second term.
Vision: The Chinatown SSA makes Chicago’s Chinatown a welcoming destination for visitors, residents, and businesses alike.
Mission: The Chinatown SSA supports the economic well-being and tourism appeal of the district through programs, services, and promotional events/activities.

Special meeting: October 6, 2025, SSA#73 renewal advisory committee meeting at Springhill Suites Hotel, 2357 S. Wentworth Avenue, Chicago, Illinois at 11:00 a.m. in the conference room
October 15, 2025 – there will be a special meeting beginning at 6 pm to discuss the reason for the levy for 2026 being in excess of a 5% increase over the previous year. Following the special meeting, the regularly scheduled meeting will take place.
